BBB Speakers Bureau Program
Your San Diego Better Business Bureau has a highly charged group of speakers who are actively speaking on the latest scams and frauds to breakfast and luncheon meetings of community groups, service organizations, churches and seniors groups. There is no cost for an appearance by your BBB’s Speakers Bureau.
The Speakers Bureau's goals are to help spread the word on how consumers can avoid scams and frauds and, at the same time, fulfill a need for many community service and networking groups who are looking for informative and entertaining speakers at their breakfast or luncheon meetings.
Among the topics that are discussed by our volunteer speakers: How to become a smart consumer; Tips on how to spot cons and frauds; How to investigate before you invest; The 10 most common scams against consumers; What happens when you call the BBB; and, free information and services available from the BBB.
BBB speakers will help consumers recognize the telltale signs of scams. After all, there is no stronger remedy for fraud than an educated consumer who refused to be conned!
In order to sustain and grow this very important program, we need your help!
As the Exclusive Sponsor of this program you will receive:
- Company recognition as the Exclusive Program Sponsor in every press release issued about the program
- Company recognition as the Exclusive Program Sponsor in every email blast sent to the BBB’s 6,000 Accredited Businesses
- Company name and logo recognition as the Exclusive Program Sponsor on any marketing materials created by the BBB to support the Program
