BBB Consumer Alert Program
Your San Diego BBB invites you to partner with us to bring valuable alerts, tips, scam warnings, and educational information to consumers, other BBB Accredited Businesses, their employees and families, and our consumer database. The BBB has currently established a system of educating as well as alerting companies and consumers to activities of scams and fraud through its proprietary e-mail distribution list and via articles in the BBB newsletter.
Through this partnership, you will be the BBB's Exclusive Community Partner for these valuable alerts, and also have the opportunity to provide additional information (to be determined). Both the e-mail alerts and the newsletter will be distributed on a monthly basis. This partnership is valid for one-year with first rights of refusal for continuing years.
As the Exclusive Community Partner for the monthly "BBB Consumer Alerts", you will receive:
- Prominent logo placement and link to your company website on all mass emails sent (sent to 6,300+ accredited businesses and list of 3,000+ area consumers. Min 12x annually);
- Logo inclusion on the BBB printed and electronic newsletter (distributed to 6,300+ accredited businesses monthly);
- Recognition on BBB website as Exclusive Community Partner of the BBB Consumer Alerts (nearly 2 million reports are delivered annually via the BBB website);
- Opportunity to distribute company materials in BBB new member kits (sent to all new accredited businesses upon joining the BBB, approx 1,200 annually);
- One Spotlight Article in the BBB newsletter (distributed to 6,300+ accredited businesses monthly).
