Another January 1st has come and gone. Each year, we all rack our brains for a new interest or activity to add to our already full plates. We try windsurfing, spending money learning to make jewelry or gardening, we may even go so far as to shell out the cash for one of our expensive new habits and then curl up on the couch with a movie in lieu of that class or training.

Like so many of you, I too gorged myself last week on turkey, stuffing and pie. Each year Thanksgiving rolls around and we eat, drink, spend time with family, and, for some, shop in the wee hours of the morning for holiday gifts. And sure, we’re all thankful for the things that we have been blessed with: a roof, good food, friends and family, but how often do we stop and give thanks for our professional blessings?
