"F" Stands for Fire

Pure Med is out of business in San Diego. They locked their doors and snuck away, taking a whole lot of money with them that consumers had pre-paid for services. Now, people are calling a disconnected number, or showing up for an appointment to find the doors locked. They are surprised, but the BBB isn’t particularly surprised. You know why? Because this company had an F rating with us long before shutting down.

New gift card scam to look out for

I got to give my canned scam speech twice last week. That’s the one that I use to scare the bijeebers (I think my Mom made that word up) out of businesses by telling them the 400 ways that criminals are attempting to reduce their bottom line even further. I noticed that over the past few years the crimes haven’t changed significantly, but their delivery mechanism has.
