Your BBB is committed to creating an ethical marketplace where buyers and sellers can trust each other. While we cannot recommend or endorse any business, product or service, we want to ensure that the San Diego community is receiving the most current company information possible. We do this by offering valuable reporting information, updated monthly.

You can find this information right in the YourBBB Newsletter, mailed out bimonthly and emailed monthly, or online in the Monthly Reports section of the bbb.org website. These reports provide a complete list of companies that fall into one of three categories that the BBB thinks consumers should be paying attention to.

The Unanswered Complaints report shows all businesses in this service area that have failed to respond to consumer complaints forwarded to them by the BBB. Failure to answer a complaint can result in Accreditation revocation, a process that is taken very seriously. Disputes are bound to arise when doing business, but a company’s failure to respond is a reflection on their commitment to ethical business practices.

The New Accredited Business Listings are those companies that have most recently been approved for BBB Accreditation. The Accreditation Application process requires that the company meets the BBB Standards for Trust, a comprehensive set of best practices for how businesses should treat the public in a fair and honest manner. Since not every company is eligible for BBB Accreditation, it is exciting to share with the community the newest additions to the BBB membership!

The Renewed Accredited Businesses Listings are those businesses that have most recently renewed their BBB Accreditation, and it lists the number of years they have been accredited. BBB Accredited Businesses must not only meet certain standards to qualify for BBB Accreditation, but they must maintain their commitment to these standards to remain accredited, and are regularly monitored for adherence. Because the continued support of our Accredited Businesses is what makes it possible for your BBB to protect the San Diego marketplace, we truly honor their dedication.

For more information about your BBB’s Accreditation or complaint process, visit BBB.org or call (858) 496-2131. If you are interested in becoming a BBB Accredited Business, you can apply here.
