Among the many crucial decisions that business owners and managers make is a conundrum of how much you should invest in advertising and marketing for your company, how often your advertisement should run and on what platform will they be most effective.

A good marketing and advertising strategy has the power to make or break a business, and the BBB understands that even campaigns of the smallest scale still cost a pretty penny for businesses. Not to mention, the stress of putting together an effective promotion that runs at the right time in the right type of media.

In order to ease the burden of growing your business, your BBB develops a Marketing Program each year that offers Accredited Businesses, exclusively, low-cost and pre-negotiated advertising and marketing opportunities. In each of these advertisements, you have the chance to not only market your business, but also to leverage your accreditation.

If your preference is newspaper and magazine advertising, we offer ad placement through our partnerships with the San Diego Business Journal, San Diego Home/Garden Lifestyles Magazine, San Diego Magazine and the San Diego Union Tribune. We also offer several online options for our Accredited Businesses, among them are our Google AdWords program (offered for select types of business), marketing through SignOnSanDiego.com, and an online sponsorship program that the BBB offers through its own website.

We offer both the Famous Faces and Famous Voices programs which companies can participate in for low-cost television and radio advertising, respectively. If you are interested in radio advertising, please be advised that the commitment deadline for Famous Voices is quickly approaching on this November 9th. The ads will run January through March. For more information, contact Sharon Massey at Radio Broadcasters Association.

While the Marketing Program booklets have already been mailed to all Accredited Businesses, if you have not received one or would like any additional copies, please contact Rachel Newman or call 619.637.6199.
