Active-duty service members who book by July 9 will get an additional 10-percent discount from Amtrak on travel from Aug. 21 to Nov. 12.
The discount is valid for travel on all Amtrak services except the weekday Acela Express and Amtrak/Via Rail service. Amtrak’s standard regular military rules and requirements apply. This is in addition to the 10-percent regular military discount.
