Better Business Bureau of San Diego & Imperial Counties Chosen as one of the 2012 Best Places to Work in San Diego
June 27, 2012 (SAN DIEGO, CA) – Better Business Bureau of San Diego and Imperial Counties was recently named as one of the 2012 Best Places to Work in San Diego.
This county-wide survey and awards program is designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in San Diego, benefiting the county's economy, workforce and businesses. The 2012 Best Places to Work in San Diego list is made up of 85 companies. The rankings of the Best Places to Work in San Diego will be unveiled at an awards ceremony and in a special publication in mid-August.
“It’s a great honor to be chosen for the 2012 Best Places to Work in San Diego list. We work diligently at the BBB to ensure that not only local consumers and businesses are treated ethically and with the best of intentions, but that our employees are, as well,” said President and CEO Sheryl Bilbrey. “This is indeed a total staff accomplishment and speaks volumes for the organizational culture that each of our employees work to foster every day. We have a “family first” philosophy at the BBB, and we have learned to treat each other as family, to support and protect, to nurture and encourage. I am among the many here who enjoy coming to work with a fantastic group of people who seek to improve themselves and their community every single day.”
Fitting is it that the Better Business Bureau be chosen for such an honor as they are also in the midst of their Centennial year as an organization. Established in 1912, the BBB has flourished over the past 100 years for one reason alone: ethics. Founded on trust, the organization believes that each and every business should treat customers, employees and competitors with respect and integrity.
This belief is what makes the Better Business Bureau just as relevant in 2012 as it was in 1912.
