Despite a few scattered rain clouds, our latest BBB B2B Mixer on July 12th was another successful event. The Beer Garden at Gordon Biersch and Brewery made a lovely backdrop for an evening complete with food, drinks and intermingling with some of San Diego’s like-minded business professionals.
This Mixer, like all others, was provided to all BBB Accredited Businesses free of charge thanks to the dedicated support of our Mixer Sponsors, Modern Postcard and Aflac. For non-accredited business there is a small fee of $25, and all proceeds help fund the BBB Foundation. These companies show up at the mixers not only to provide you with free food and drinks, but to exhibit how they can help your business. At the next mixer you attend, be sure to stop by their tables and chat with them about how their products and services can help your business flourish!
Over 100 businessmen and women made their way down to the Gordon Biersch Beer Garden, located in Mission Valley, on the evening of Thursday July 12th. Guests appreciated the opportunity to link up with only the most ethical businesses in San Diego and even had a chance to win some exciting raffle prizes courtesy of our mixer sponsors, Aflac and Envision Personalized Health!
B2B Mixers gives business professionals the opportunity to mix and mingle with prominent business people from all over San Diego and Imperial Counties. Like always, we encourage everyone to attend and give all companies, accredited and non-accredited alike, a chance to network with the professionals that surround them.
If you are currently a non-accredited company, you have the opportunity to learn about the benefits of accreditation from business owners who personally profit from the advantages your BBB has provided them. We do ask that each non-accredited company must have at least a B rating with the BBB in order to attend to ensure we are supporting only the most ethical businesses in our community. The majority of our guests at these bi-monthly mixers are accredited, so you are sure to meet representatives from businesses with our seal of approval. Look for the BBB logo on their nametag to distinguish who the Accredited Business members are at our next event.
These bi-monthly mixers are an excellent opportunity for your company to take an active and tangible role in the community. When you get out into the community and meet people you will boost your reputation and possibly gather new leads. Plus, that face-to-face personal connection could make the difference between you and your competitor.
Overall the July 12th networking mixer at Gordon Biersch was again a great accomplishment, we would like to thank all of our event sponsors and guests who attended.
