On February 19, your BBB held its first BBB B2B Mixer at The San Diego Collection, a unique venue showcasing antique and classic cars. The networking mixer was a rousing success, with many Accredited Businesses mingling over food, wine, and classic cars.
Special thanks to Gaslamp Insurance, our program underwriter, who is offering a raffle prize at every mixer! Congratulations to Barry J. Kohn who won $100 at the February 19th mixer!

Your BBB held its second business-to-business networking mixer on Thursday, April 2nd from 4:00-6:00pm at The Hall of Champions in Balboa Park. Over 200 business professionals attended and received free entry into the Hall of Champion’s sports memorabilia museum.

Our third BBB B2B Mixer was held Thursday, June 4th at the La Jolla Cove Suites ocean-view rooftop. With vast ocean views and over 175 attendees mingling, it was a fun and positive networking experience for all!

The August 6th BBB B2B Mixer at Stone Brewing Co. was another successful and fun networking event! 190 business executives came to the brewery in Escondido to network and enjoy Stone Brewing Co.’s famous beers and beautiful gardens.
Congratulations to Nathaniel Hines of PureFlo, who won four Padres tickets courtesy of program underwriter Gaslamp Insurance. Other notable moments included a trumpet performance by BBB President & CEO Sheryl Bilbrey. Sheryl’s trumpet playing was a great way to get the crowd to loosen up and network!

October 1, 2009 – More networking took place at Bondi, an Australian pub & kitchen in downtown San Diego! 198 business folks came to Bondi, in the Gaslamp district, to mingle with other BBB accredited businesses and enjoy a pint of Australian beer.

Your BBB held its sixth BBB B2B Mixer at Zocalo 4S Ranch on December 3. Over 130 attendees braved the chilly December night and enjoyed appetizers, wine and great conversation on Zocalo’s heated patio. Attendees continue to comment on the great connections they make at these business-to-business mixers.
